I think Haney has made a mistake. I like Gary Russell to win the fight. Russell brings a level of handspeed that Haney has not seen. Haney won't have the handspeed advantage. Russell is also comfortable anywhere in the ring. Haney has thrived on opponents uncomfortable with their backs up against the ropes. I expect Russell to be the one who determines the spacing. Haney doesn't have a big punch. So he'll have to try to "outbox" a multi-year champion who has the handspeed advantage. I like the champ in this fight.

I like Houston +9.5 over KC. The line is simply too big. Both were playoff teams last year. Houston likely has spent its off-season wondering how it let its double digit lead dissipate in that game. Tyreek Hill is a bit banged up. KC's running back is a rookie. KC might be suffering from post Super Bowl hangover, as many past champions have. I like the dog with the points. I like the Steelers @ -220 on the moneyline over the New York Giants. Big Ben is back. Ben passed for 5129 yards in the 2018 season before being injured for much of 2019. He is a future Hall of Famer still putting up big yardage. Last year without Big Ben for much of the season, the Steelers still finished 8-8. By contrast, the New York Giants finished last year 4-12. They have replaced their head coach and lack the continuity of the Steelers. The initial point spread of the Steelers -3.5 was an absolute steal.
